Latin American Forum "Transitional Guidance for the Meaning of Life"

On June 20 and 21 of 2019 in Santo Domingo, capital of the Dominican Republic, two Latin American forums were held on the Model: "Transitional Orientation for the Meaning of Life" research work of the Latin American Network of Guidance Professionals (Relapro ) through its research magazine: "OrientAcción" in association with the 3.0 network of Guidance Counselors of Colombia.

Presentations were received from Colombia (Diana Marcela Méndez Gómez), Mexico (Maria Alicia Cano, Rosalinda Robles, Bertha Miranda and José Nava Ortiz). Uruguay (Miguel Carbajal.) Venezuela (Julio González and Yeslaine Ávila) and host country Dominican Republic (Areli’s Garcia López).
Concepts were also received from the Professional Associations of Counselors of Panama (Conaopa) and Costa Rica (C.P.O) and the Guidance Syndicate of Costa Rica (SINAPRO).
Book of complete papers was delivered to the Mtra. Minerva Pérez on behalf of the Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic, in order to promote a local research group on the subject. Complete document available in: 







On Thursday, June 20, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (Minerd), which was developing its National "Good Practices" Congress on the day of the celebrations for the National Counseling n Day, the first day of the forum in "Juan Dolio" tourist city located two hours from the capital.


On this occasion, panelists from Panama (Mg Mixcela Salazar, Venezuela, Mg.Yeslaine Ávila), Dominican Republic. (Mg Arelis Garcia) and Colombia (Mg.Diana Marcela Méndez), presented their national visions in the framework of the model: Transitional Orientation for the Meaning of Life introduced by Mg.Amilkar Brunal, current director (208-2010) of Relapro in moderator functions.



On Friday 20 with the valuable collaboration of "UNIREMHOS", a prestigious consortium of universities in its headquarters "Eugenio Maria de Hostos" and with the participation of its management team led by its rector Dr.Wadi Ramirez. The forum was held with health teaching students.

 Mexico joined the group of panelists with a deluxe delegation: Mtra. Bertha Miranda, Mtra. Rosalinda Robles, Mtra. Maria Alicia Cano and Mtro. José Nava Ortiz.

   
                                               

The Federation of Associations of University Students of Educational Guidance and Psych pedagogy of the Dominican Republic,
represented by its president Waldo Cruz Vázquez, were present at the presentation of their highest award: "Maria Teresa Quidiello": Guidance Inspectors, in the category "Human and Social Development of Counseling" to counselor Amilkar A. Brunal in representation of RELAPRO

Long live the Students!

Preliminary conclusions

Appreciating deeply the performances of all the participants, it is considered that the first phase yields very positive results: An analysis of Weaknesses, Opportunities, Strengths and Risks, will be developed by the research team of the magazine "OrientAción" of Relapro, report that It is expected to be presented in a second forum in "Mexico" one of the leading countries on the subject in the second half of the year.
